Our historic 1800's barn had recently been designed in an effort to maximize all of the beauty and grandeur it has to offer you for your wedding reception. Inside the bar you will find an open floor plan for you to decorate, design, and arrange to match the decor and vision of your special day. The hand-crafted bar is also located on the first floor making it easy for your guest to grab a drink and head to the dance floor. Located on the second floor of the barn you'll find a number of unique, furnished lounge areas for your guests to sit and enjoy the party from above. Included in this, is a newly added VIP lounge area that sits above the bar and is separated from the other lounge areas by a newly built bridge. Additionally, the upper barn area tends to be a perfect location for the groom and his groomsmen to dress and prepare for the day.
Our 300-year-old farmhouse has been in our family for three generations. Starting with the kitchen, is where the bridal party tends to gather for pre-wedding hair and make-up, plus a mimosa, or two. The kitchen has a few lounge areas and couches for everyone to sit, share, and relax before the big moment. There is also an enclosed porch, off of the kitchen, which is excellent for natural light photography and getting-ready pictures. We do have a full bath including a second mirror and sink, outside the bathroom, which allows multiple people to get ready at the same time. Additionally, we have a spacious living room with a gorgeous antique fireplace and multiple seating options. Lastly, we have the two furnished guest bedrooms.
The Ceremony Space:
Our ceremony space features a handmade birch arbor which you make dress up with your choice of flowers to match your wedding theme, or leave it in its natural state and beauty. The expanse in front of the arbor is perfect for your guests to congregate. We can provide 80 white chairs for the ceremony, if you would like, or we gladly refer you to our vendor page where you are welcome to choose the event rental company of your choice to furnish your wedding.
The Lawn Space:
The lawn stretches from the ceremony site all the way to the working farm site featuring beautiful perennial beds which change throughout the seasons and are the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos. There are multiple lounge spaces with adirondack chairs for quiet conversations along with a vast spaces for large groups to enjoy cocktails under the sun.
The Game Area:
The venue offers a number of games for you and guests to enjoy and set up wherever you'd like. These fun game options include: corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoe. You are welcome to bring your own. We've seen our guests get really creative and bring waterslides, giant jenga, foosball, and ladder golf.
All of our wedding packages include use of our beautiful bonfire pit and access to unlimited wood supply. If you would like to have your guests sit around the bonfire, you'll have access to hand-hewn, rough-cut benches. This is the perfect space for late-night 'smores and gathering.
Small Feat Farm manages and grows organic food for over 25 families within our community. This 1/2 acre farm embellishes the venue with beauty, flowers, and abundance season after season. Guests are welcome walk throughout the footpaths of this stunning garden.
The Tent Area:
The tent space is perfect the sit-down part of the reception. Since each wedding is unique, you'll decide on the tent that best serves your vision with our rental company. They will come to the property to set up and break down the tent for you, after your wedding.
The Camping Area:
For the third wedding package, your guests are welcome to stay on our property. There is ample space for camping and tennis, but we ask that there are no RVs on site. The camping area is near the facilities, but also far enough away from the bonfire and reception to offer some peace and quiet for guests.
The Parking Area:
We can accommodate up to 250 people and their cars in the parking area space. We have also had guests decide to hold their ceremony there due to it being so large and vast.
The Catering Shed:
The licensed catering company of your choice will have access to the catering shed which includes: power, lights, water, a walk-in refrigerate, and tables for prep and set up.
The Prop Shed:
Our guests have access to anything in the prop shed to help decorate and facilitate the wedding of their dreams. Some of our props include: tiki torches, extension cords, games, 10x10 pop-up tents, and more.
Our bathroom facilities for guests include two separate stalls with a shared foot-pedal sink.
